Yaki Kadafi, also known as Yafeu Akiyele Fula, was an American rapper and member of the hip-hop group Outlawz. He was born on October 9, 1977, in Irvington, New Jersey, and was raised in East Orange. He was a childhood friend of Tupac Shakur and joined the Outlawz group in 1994.
Yaki Kadafi was present with Tupac on the night of his fatal shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. After Tupac's death, Yaki continued to record with the Outlawz and released several albums with the group. He was also known for his collaborations with other hip-hop artists such as Tupac, Nas, and Scarface.
On November 10, 1996, Yaki Kadafi was found dead in a New Jersey apartment from a gunshot wound to the head. His death remains a mystery, and there are several conspiracy theories surrounding his death. Despite his short life, Yaki Kadafi left an indelible mark on the hip-hop industry and is remembered as one of the most talented and promising artists of his generation.
